Nani Marquina studied industrial design at Escola Massana and worked as an independent textile designer before creating her own company and showroom in Barcelona in 1986. A superb colorist, Marquina creates her own vivid rugs. The Spanish company is dedicated to the design and edition of wonderful rugs and textiles. Since its founding, the company has designed its products paying special attention to research into raw materials and manufacturing processes. First creations were carpets designed by Nani Marquina herself, in geometric forms and bright colors in red, green, yellow, blue, black, and many more, with close attention to texture that fits any minimalistic home or office decor. After these had been well received, she commissioned several internationally renowned designers to create new carpets.
